CT Technologist

LOCATION

Diagnostic Imaging Centers, P.A.

HOURS

8 am-5 pm – Four 9-hour shifts/week, including a Saturday rotation. Travel may be required between clinic locations. Day off to be determined.

We are currently seeking an experienced CT technologist to join our team and play an active role in a clinic setting. Responsibilities include performing routine radiographic exams and operate imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient’s body for diagnostic purposes. Experience with MR/Diagnostic procedures is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who desires a challenging position.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Radiologist, perform imaging procedures according to the standard protocol(s) outlined for each diagnostic exam. The technologist will explain the procedure to patients, assure patients' safety, review images to confirm that they meet requirements of radiologist, and accurately process exams in both RIS and PACS.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have strong knowledge of General Radiology
  • Knowledgeable and competent in CT protocols and scanning techniques
  • Flexible and independent worker
  • Strong Patient Care skills, professional and self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Accuracy and detail oriented
  • Team player dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care
  • Attention to detail as well as adherence to strict safety procedures
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients
  • Willingness to travel to any Diagnostic Imaging Centers clinic location as needed

Qualifications


  • ARRT Registry
  • CT registry is required
  • Registry in MRI and Mammography preferred
